This is the LAN ethernet version.
The versatile Studio Displays are used in many of the world’s recording and postproduction studios. It is a great help in orientation during large projects or dubbing. The imaginative design enhances the anodized aluminum frame in black or platinum color and is the perfect size for large or small studios.
Studio Display XT2 displays data such as timecode, bars/beats, frames and more from your DAW in real time. It also shows recording or pre-roll information and clock. Multi-color segments during playback timecode are green, “ready” is yellow, and during recording, all segments turn red. Recording start/stop and ready to record/pre-roll/post-roll information is useful for musicians, singers and other artists, as well as dubbing and post-production studios. You can only set red for all modes. The device is compatible with many DAWs such as Pro Tools, Cubase, Nuendo, Reaper, etc. It also works as a Midi Time Code reader.
PunchLight DLi-LAN is included for the Ethernet connection. This small box has one output for the Display XT2 and two additional outputs for connecting external lights, such as the Recording Display, Lamp, Ring etc.
The Studio Display XT2 is connected to the PunchLight DLi-LAN using a six-wire cable, terminated at both ends with 6P6C connectors. This cable is supplied in a standard length of 10m, please contact us for other lengths.
It also displays time and has an internal battery, so the clock is still set when the unit is turned off or disconnected from the power supply.
The remote control can turn off the last two segments, switch between dots or colons, filter MTC, switch the display between “Pro Tools” or other audio applications (“Generic”), and set overall brightness. You can also send custom messages from your computer to the display using the remote control.
