The Gotham 11001 GAC‑4/1 is a professional-grade 5.4 mm Star‑Quad microphone cable engineered for exceptional RF rejection and signal fidelity in high-demand environments. It features four finely stranded bare copper conductors (96 × 0.05 mm each, approx. 0.19 mm²) with low-capacitance polyethylene insulation, arranged in a star‑quad geometry to halve signal loss and maintain a stable characteristic impedance at 20 kHz. The conductors are enveloped by dual Reussen-style bare copper braid shields with 100% coverage, backed by a viscose layer, achieving over 130 dB RF rejection at 25 kHz. Wrapped in an ultrasoft black PVC jacket, the cable delivers superb flexibility and handling. With conductor resistance under 90 Ω/km, shield resistance below 20 Ω/km, capacitance < 55 nF/km (cond/cond) and < 103 nF/km (cond/shield), it supports long runs with minimal loss. Tested to 500 V between conductors and 2,000 V conductor-to-shield, and rated for –5 °C to +50 °C flexing (–30 °C to +70 °C fixed), this cable is ideal for professional stage, studio, and broadcast applications where noise immunity and reliability are paramount.
This cable is ideal for: XLR, TRS, and other balanced audio connectors.
