The Gotham 10008 GAC‑1 is a professional-grade 6.3 mm double-shielded unbalanced audio cable engineered for high-performance analog signal transmission. It features a stranded bare LFOC copper conductor (48 × 0.07 mm, approx. 0.19 mm²), foam-skin polyethylene insulation, and dual shielding with two layers of 100% coverage bare copper braid, all protected by a robust PVC jacket complemented by a conductive PVC layer to mitigate microphonic noise. With conductor resistance under 90 Ω/km, shielding resistance below 28 Ω/km, and capacitance under 146 nF/km, it delivers excellent signal integrity and minimal interference. Rated for 1 kV test voltage and built to operate flexibly between –5 °C and +50 °C (extending to –30 °C to +70 °C in fixed installations), it’s ideal for demanding applications like guitar leads and phono interconnects. Sized at 5.3 mm outer diameter and compatible with standard unbalanced connectors (RCA, ¼″ TS), it offers versatility for professional studio and stage setups.
