An advanced DSP-based feature set and outstanding acoustic performance make the Sub8 PRO an ideal foundation for compact monitoring systems. Part of our modern range of networked subwoofers, the Sub8 PRO features a high-excursion 8” woofer, FEA-optimised bass reflex port and powerful class D amplifier.
The backplate of the Sub8 PRO highlights its professional, feature-rich nature. It offers comprehensive phase and crossover controls, digital input and output via AES3, balanced analog input and output via XLR and TRS, plus a footswitch input to activate or bypass bass management.
The ethernet port enables a multitude of management and calibration tools for the Sub8 PRO via ADAM Control, the included application for networked ADAM Audio products. The subwoofer can be manually time aligned and calibrated across 4 bands of parametric EQ, and calibration profiles from Sonarworks can be uploaded directly to an integrated platform. Firmware updates are also managed via ADAM Control which allows future functionality to be added to the subwoofer.
In addition to Stereo mode for conventional use, the Sub8 PRO features two operational modes that were designed with immersive audio in mind. The dedicated LFE mode is suited to mixing in Dolby Atmos, while the Wide option allows the sub to play full range. All this technology is contained within a robust wooden cabinet while the woofer is protected by a solid metal grille. The Sub8 PRO comes with a 2-year warranty that can be extended to 5-years upon product registration.
