The SPL Venos is a 2U stereo bus compressor that combines classic variable-bias tube compression with groundbreaking hyper-compression modes and SPL’s unrivalled 120V rail technology. Built around a remote-cutoff tube stage, it delivers the legendary glue, depth, and impact of vintage tube compressors while introducing Focus and Punch modes that push beyond traditional ratios into negative/hyper-compression territory for explosive, energy-packed dynamics never heard before on a mix bus.

Hyper-Compression Innovation

Focus and Punch modes abandon conventional side-chain filtering and instead reshape the gain-reduction curve itself. After reaching maximum compression, the curve drops again — creating a powerful, almost “over-compressed” yet musical effect that adds massive size and forward drive. Perfect for modern electronic, hip-hop, rock, or any mix needing instant impact.
