The ability to use the MV7 microphone as either a USB or XLR interface means that, aside from a stand and pop filter, it's ready to go right out of the box (including the USB cables). You can even monitor with the built in headphone output! For multiple mic use, most users will be best served with a separate audio interface and using the XLR output to a microphone preamp that can accomodate enough ins and outs for recording, as well as monitoring. In any situation, the dynamic moving coil design does an excellent job at rejecting off axis room noise and ambience, delivering a tighter sound for your voice or source.
