Dual-Stage Compression
The OptoFET features two independent compression stages that can be used separately or in series. The optical stage provides smooth, transparent gain reduction with a natural, musical release, while the FET stage delivers fast attack and aggressive character. Use them together for layered control—optical for gentle levelling and FET for punch—or independently for focused processing on vocals, drums, bass, or buses.
Dual Band & Advanced Processing
Dual Band mode splits the signal into low and high frequency bands, allowing separate compression settings for precise control over bass weight and high-end detail. Grit adds transformer-driven harmonic saturation for extra warmth and edge, while Bloom enhances harmonics and transient detail. Flexible gain staging lets you push the input for saturation or keep it clean, with output trim for perfect level matching.
