Ferrofish A32 Pro Dante Multi-Format Converter - Ultimate Audio Routing Solution

The Ferrofish A32 Pro Dante Multi-Format Converter is a 1U rackmount powerhouse that converts and routes professional audio formats with unparalleled I/O density. Supporting 32 balanced analog I/Os, 64 MADI channels, 32 ADAT channels, and 64 Dante/AES67 channels at up to 192 kHz, it integrates analog, MADI, ADAT, and Dante networks for studio, live sound, and broadcast applications. With ESS converters, a high-precision clock, and a flexible routing matrix, this fanless converter delivers pristine sound and solves complex audio routing challenges with ease.

High-Quality Conversion and Dante Integration

The A32 Pro Dante features 32 analog I/Os on eight D-Sub25 connectors (Tascam format) with levels adjustable from -8 to +20 dBu in 1 dB steps. The latest ESS converters, combined with a temperature-compensated clock and jitter reduction PLL (50-100 ps output jitter), ensure low-latency, detailed audio. Its 64x64 Dante I/O via dual RJ-45 ports offers seamless integration into Dante/AES67 networks, with redundancy for reliable live operation, making it a versatile bridge between analog and digital domains.

Comprehensive Digital Connectivity

Dual MADI SFP ports (64 channels at 48 kHz, 32 at 192 kHz) support optical or coaxial modules with automatic redundancy switching, shipping with a Multimode optical module. Four ADAT I/O ports (2x4 TOSLINK) handle 32 channels at 48 kHz or 16 at 96 kHz, with port 4 switchable to S/PDIF. Word Clock I/O, MIDI I/O, and MIDI-over-MADI enable embedding and remote control, while a GPIO port supports preset switching and status alerts, ensuring mission-critical reliability.

Intuitive Control and Monitoring

Four multitouch TFT screens display levels for all 64 analog channels, with a context-sensitive help system for intuitive operation. The RemoteFish app (Mac/PC) allows remote control via USB, MIDI, MIDI-over-MADI, or Dante. Two headphone outputs with a dedicated DAC path and M/S decoding, plus a stereo TRS main output, provide flexible monitoring. Features like preset management, panel lock, and a SHARC DSP for future plugin expansion enhance workflow efficiency.
