TK Audio TEQ - Extended Mastering & Mix Bus EQ with M/S
The TK Audio TEQ is a dual-band mastering and mix bus equalizer based on the classic Baxandall circuit, delivering smooth, natural tonal shaping with modern precision. Featuring ten selectable frequencies per band, 0.25 dB resolution up to 1 dB, extended ±8 dB range via Ex switch, M/S processing, and independent HPF/LPF filters, the TEQ offers unmatched flexibility for subtle sweetening or surgical corrections. All controls are stepped for perfect recall, and gold-contact switches ensure reliable, transparent performance in professional studios.
Dual-Band Baxandall EQ
Two bands cover 30 Hz–720 Hz (low) and 1 kHz–24 kHz (high), each switchable between shelf and peak (Q=0.5) modes. Cut/boost starts in 0.25 dB steps up to 1 dB, then 0.5 dB steps to 4 dB, with the Ex switch extending to ±8 dB for deeper adjustments. The low Q value provides gentle, musical curves ideal for bus and mastering work, while the wide frequency selection allows precise targeting across the spectrum.
M/S Processing & Filters
The built-in M/S function lets you process mid and side channels independently for enhanced width, focused center, or creative imaging. A Cue switch monitors left/right or mid/side channels for accurate evaluation. Independent HPF (20–60 Hz, 12 dB/oct) removes rumble, and LPF (12–27 kHz, 12 dB/oct) smooths harsh highs, both with six stepped frequencies for repeatable results.
