We've just received first stock of the sE Electronics DM1 Dynamite passive microphone booster, and at first listen and glance they have achieved a lot with the DM1. This simple device is an inline, phantom powered extra preamp boost for your passive mics (moving coil dynamic, and ribbon). You just plug it into the microphone and engage the +48v phantom power on your preamp for an extra +28dB of gain, utilizing the unused phantom power.
