Heritage Audio Launches Lang P.Lane and Silverr47, Hear The Gear at ZenPro

Heritage Audio's LANG series of gear is affordable and has all the vibe you can stand but most importantly it sounds great and performs well. We've found the switches and build to also feel outstanding so regardless of the price range, they're hitting home runs with this series so far.

ZenPro Audio now has the LANG P.LANE Type 436 compressor and the LANG Silverr47 preamp in stock.

As always we quickly worked to add it to the world's largest database of studio gear audio samples, our Clipalator. Check them out in the compressor and preamp folders before you buy, and compare them to tons of other models.

The P.LANE is a very smooth and forgiving kind of compression. It's not going to choke anything out or pinch the sound, the attack is not lightning fast but a very safe speed for sure. The release circuit is interesting in that it has a HOLD function after each timing setting, in case you'd want to manually maintain source processing in real time. It brings a bit of that drive and well worn character to your audio. Based on an old modified Altec compressor that is famous for The Beatles among other recordings, this thing is a hit.

The Silverr47 tube preamp is oozing with character, it is meant to be heard and a part of your sound. It has plenty of control though, so for a harmonic distortion type of preamp even in its purposeful NFB mode it delivers useful audio that doesn't just square wave when pushed. Recordists who are into pushing preamps would not need to worry about that approach here.

Check them out and use your ears to hear what we're hearing!
