Vintage Design M581mk2 Description
M581 has been updated to M581mk2. The major changes are that the front XLR is removed and that the Hi-Z input is fed trough the input transformer (via the same type of FET driver that is used in other types of Vintagedesign units) to get it's character. The M581mk2 also have a power on delay to prevent PSU errors. The soundpath is identical to the old version. The push buttons are now illuminated.

- Gain:-50dB to +5dB or -80dB to -25dB with the +30dB boost activated.
- XLR input impedance: 1200 / 300 ohm selectable with a front mounted switch, 1200 is default.
- 48v phantom power switch
- Phase reverse switch
- Output level control
- Instrument input: impedance >1Mohm
- Output: Headroom >+26dB @ 600ohm load ( internal 600ohms termination as default )
- Distortion THD+N: < 0,07% @ 1kHz , +20dB
