The
MoFET76 is designed after the legendary 1176 Revision F, while also including switchable output transformers and input
metering. These compressors sound amazing on any source including
vocals, bass, snare and overheads. Great analog sound! This is a New
custom built unit completely hand soldered and hand wired for greater
quality control. These units come complete, calibrated and tested.
Want to obtain maximum control with the most ease?
Your MoFET76 can exhibit control like classic "opto" style one-knob limiters and deliver a very narrow dynamic range while sounding smooth and open.
Warren's "One Knob" MoFET76 Setup:
- Combine 4:1 + 12:1 Ratio
- Set Attack to Slowest (counter-clockwise)
- Set Release to Fastest (clockwise)
- Vary the Input Level for Threshold!
Vocals, bass, strings, percussion...it is amazing how this setting delivers the goods with almost no effort.

Option: MoSA Stereo Adapter (free, includes cables, with stereo pair purchase)
The MoSA stereo adapter is used for linking two of the MoFET76 together. Although we at Mohog match our FETs in a very narrow range, there still could be a slight difference in control voltage in the FET buss from unit to unit. The MoSA is used to sum the two buses together while still maintaining the proper calibration and FET conduction of each unit. This unit is a small box that is easily installed and mounted to your MoFET 76 compressors.
These come free of charge when two Mofet76 are ordered together. If ordered at different times the MoSA is $70.00 and includes two 12" TRS cables.

After reading many favorable reviews of this comp, I decided to grab one for myself. It's awesome!!! Probably one of the best purchases I've made in the last 5 years. The switchable transformer is a great feature and really adds to the units tonal possibilities.
And two big thumbs up for the great customer service from Warren!!
